Coins: coin packs, coin tables and sending coins
Coins are in-app only. They can’t be withdrawn, cashed out or exchanged for money, and they have no cash value.
You earn coins by playing, and on the website you can also get a coin pack. Spend them on looks in the shop, put them in at a coin table, or send some to another player.
They match the game’s current settings. The game’s own pages always show the latest: the shop for coin packs, and Coin tables and Send coins for those.
Where do coins come from?
From play: finishing online games, and CPU games while you’re signed in, plus badges, the daily challenge, welcome coins and confirmed friend invites. The shop’s How to earn coins list shows each one.
On the website you can also get a coin pack. Every coin in and out is in your coin history.
How do coin packs work?
Coin packs are on the website only. Sign in with Google, open the shop and choose Coin packs. The Android app has no coin packs.
| Pack | Coins |
|---|---|
| $5 | 1,000 coins |
| $10 | 2,000 coins |
| $15 | 3,000 coins |
| $20 | 4,000 coins |
| $50 | 10,000 coins |
| $100 | 20,000 coins |
Or pick Your own amount: any whole number of dollars from $21, at the same 200 coins per dollar. The shop tells you how many coins that is before you go on.
Checkout goes through our payment partner. Once the payment goes through, the coins land in your coin history in a moment.
Every purchase is final, coin packs included. The Terms cover coin packs.
How do coin tables work?
Everyone at a coin table puts in the same table fee. The last one standing collects the table.
Open Coin tables and pick a table. Fees run from 50 to 1,000 coins, and each card shows its fee, its seats, how many are looking now, what the table collects, and the reputation level it opens at, if any.
- Choose Join for the fee on its card, then Put in the fee to confirm.
- Your fee leaves your balance when the game starts. Nothing is held while you wait.
- Leave the table before the game starts and no coins are taken.
To join you need enough coins for the fee, and you can sit at one table at a time.
Coin tables count toward your rating and reputation.
How do table fees settle?
| What happens | Where the fees go |
|---|---|
| One player is left standing | They collect the table: every fee put in. |
| The game ends on highest net worth, by a limit or by agreement | The seats tied for the highest net worth share the table. Any coins left over from the split go one each, in finishing order. |
| You leave, or go offline too long, after the first roll | Your fee stays with the table. |
| The game is called off before the first roll | Every fee goes back. |
| Nobody can collect the table | Every fee goes back. |
The 2-minute offline rule applies at coin tables, as in every live game.
How do coin challenges work?
A coin challenge is a coin table for you and your friends. Everyone puts in the same fee, and the last one standing collects the table.
On Coin tables, under Coin challenge:
- Pick the table fee and who’s invited. A coin challenge seats up to 8 people, you included, and shows how many coins the table holds.
- Choose Send the challenge. Each friend chooses Put in the fee, or Not this time.
- Once everyone invited has answered, choose Open the table. Everyone puts in the fee when the game starts.
Before anyone rolls, you can Call it off, and every fee goes back to whoever put it in.
You can also send a coin challenge to one friend from Online now, or find a coin table match there.
How do you send coins?
Open Send coins. You can send coins to anyone in Rent Party.
- Type the first 3 letters of their name, or their whole invite code, and choose Find.
- Pick an amount, in tens: 10, 20, 30 and up.
- Choose Review, confirm, then Send.
| Rule | What it means |
|---|---|
| Transfer fee | 10% of what you send. Send 100 and they receive 90. |
| Daily limit | Up to 10,000 coins sent and 10,000 received each day. The count starts again at midnight UTC. |
| Confirming | Your transfer PIN, or signing in again when your last sign-in is more than 15 minutes old. Signed in recently? No PIN is needed that time. |
A sent transfer can’t be taken back. Both of you see it in your coin history.
You can’t send coins to someone you’ve blocked or who blocked you, or while your account is suspended.
How do you set a transfer PIN?
In Settings, under Online and coins, choose Set a PIN. Use 4 to 6 digits, and don’t use your birthday. If your last sign-in isn’t recent, you sign in again first.
The PIN confirms every coin transfer you send. Too many wrong tries locks it for a while, and you can still sign in again to confirm a transfer. You can change or remove it in the same place. Without a PIN, Rent Party asks you to sign in again.
