Moving from a Jackbox Party Pack to Rent Party
Keep your packs. A Jackbox night is quick rounds of drawing and trivia, with one screen and everyone's phone as the controller. A Rent Party night is one long game of streets, haggling and rent, on phones alone.
Is there anything to move?
No. There's nothing to carry over between the two, and the packs you bought are still yours.
How do you get a table going?
- Everyone in one room? Pass one phone around with Pass-and-play. No TV, no accounts.
- Everyone on their own phone? Sign in with Google on Start a game and share the room code.
- Getting late? Pause the game and carry on another day.
Who should stay with Jackbox?
A crowd that wants quick rounds on a TV, where someone can join for ten minutes and leave. A Rent Party game asks for longer than that.
How do the two compare?
Last checked . Check The Jackbox Party Packs yourself. If their page says something different now, believe their page.
