Moving from Tabletop Simulator to Rent Party

Nobody has to own a copy, or a PC. A phone browser is enough, and the rules run themselves, so nobody flips the table to settle an argument about the rent.

Is there anything to move?

No. Workshop mods and saved tables stay in Tabletop Simulator. There's no board editor here yet, so a table you built can't come along.

How do you get a table going?

  1. Send your group the link to Start a game. There's nothing to buy before you sit down.
  2. Whoever hosts signs in with Google and starts a room. Everyone else who plays online signs in too.
  3. Short on people? CPU characters fill the empty seats.

Who should stay on Tabletop Simulator?

Groups on PCs who want any board game they can imagine on one 3D table, and who like building and sharing their own.

How do the two compare?

Last checked . Check Tabletop Simulator yourself. If their page says something different now, believe their page.
