Page tours and the walkthrough
New here? Rent Party shows you around two ways. A page tour walks through the page you’re on, and How Rent Party works covers the whole game in six screens. It takes about a minute, and you can leave at any step.
How do I start a page tour?
Press Take a tour of this page in the header. On a phone it’s in the bar at the top of the screen. The first time you open a page that has a tour, a short note points at the button: New here? Take a quick tour of this page. Choose Show me to start, or Dismiss. The note shows once per page.
Which pages have a tour?

Can I skip steps or leave the tour?
Yes, at any step. Next and Back move one step, and All steps lists every step so you can jump straight to one. Skip tour or Close the tour ends it, and so does Escape or a press on the dimmed page. On a keyboard, the arrow keys move between steps. On a phone, each step opens as a card at the bottom of the screen.
What is How Rent Party works?
A quick walk through the game, six screens long:
- Pick your kind of game night: online with friends, pass-and-play on one phone, or CPU characters with names, personalities and opinions.
- Roll, buy, build: the classic property-trading rules, applied for you. Nobody has to be the banker.
- Haggle at the table: offer deeds, bucks or both to anyone at the table.
- Pause any game: life calls? Pause the game and pick it up days later.
- Bring your crew online: share a link, a QR code or the six-character room code.
- Dress up your game: coins buy looks, never luck.
